Guthrie students were greeted Monday morning with signs and music as teachers welcomed their students back to school.
Following a 10-day walkout, teachers stood outside of their school buildings holding signs of thanks and appreciation for both students and parents.
At Fogarty Elementary not only were signs visible, but some be happy music, smiles and high fives were given as students entered the school building.
At Guthrie Upper Elementary School signs read “Thank You For Your Suppport” as students were being dropped off for the day.
On Sunday evening, parents and students were seen decorating schools to show their continued support for the teachers.
