Join the Oklahoma Territorial Museum for History Never Dies. A perfect opportunity for kids to show off their fabulous costumes, eat appetizers and catch a glimpse of the museum galleries. The free event is set for Saturday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m.
No need to cook dinner as hot dogs, popcorn and festive appetizers will be prepared by the museum’s Friends group.
The museum galleries will be free and open to all who venture their direction.
“We’ll do scavenger hunts and play our Oklahoma or Bust game a couple times throughout the evening. The kids can win prizes and candy at the carnival games and we will also have some Halloween crafts for them to make and take home. Don’t forget to join the cupcake walk,” a museum spokesperson said.
The Oklahoma Territorial Museum & Historic Carnegie Library is located at 406 E. Oklahoma Ave. For more information find the museum on Facebook or call the museum at 405-282-1889.
