The Labor Day weekend witness two vehicle accidents resulting in two fatalities on Logan County roads.
On Monday, emergency crews responded to the intersection of Broadway and Charter Oak in the southern portion of the county at 3:43 p.m.

A 2013 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Theresa Sanchez, 32, of Edmond was travelling eastbound on Charter Oak and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Deborah Davis, 46, of Tuscon, Az. who was traveling southbound on Broadway.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the Silverado partially rolled and struck a third vehicle identified as a 2006 Honda Accord. The driver of the Accord, John Newsom, 50, of Edmond was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger, Jana Newsom, 49, of Edmond was transported to OU Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with trunk and external injuries.
The cause of the collision is listed as pending.
Two 9-year-olds were passengers in the Sonata and reported no injuries at the scene.
All parties involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
Along with OHP, EMSA, Oak Cliff Fire Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
