The board members all voiced their 100% support of this endeavor. The board voted to bring the ordinance before the City Council.

“This is an exciting time for Logan County and the City of Guthrie,” SWAT Coordinator  Lewis C. Robinson III said.

Passage of the ordinance make Guthrie one of the few cities in the state that will have this type of ordinance.

Robinson thanked Bryan Dearing and Lindsey Surrett (Guthrie Junior High Adult Partners) for their outstanding work with the GJHS SWAT team and Coalition Members for their support and activism.
