A pick up truck attempted to pass a tractor on Highway 74 Thursday afternoon causing an accident that blocked both lanes.
The driver of the pick up was attempting to pass the tractor near Simmons Road in a no passing zone when it clipped the tractor.
The tractor was flipped onto its side causing traffic in both directions to come to a halt just before 3 p.m.
Minor injuries were reported at the scene.
The Guthrie Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Deer Creek Fire Department and Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported to the scene.
