One person killed on I-35 in vehicle accident this afternoon

Update at 1:08 p.m. – Traffic is beginning to move very slowly. Wrecker will be coming from Payne Co.

Update at 12:48 p.m. – Sad news to pass along, but one person has died at the scene.

Update at 12:39 p.m. –  Both medical helicopters have landed on I-35.

Update at 12:39 p.m. – A female driver has been extricated from the roll over vehicle. The air bag deployed and Guthrie EMS has established an IV. The first helicopter will be landing north of the accident in the northbound lane.

Expect long traffic delays.

Emergency crews have now gone on the scene at 12:15 p.m. on a two vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

One person has been ejected and another pinned.

Two medical helicopters will be responding to the scene.

The accident is in the northbound lanes at mile marker 167 at the river bridge just across the Logan County line in Payne County.

Avoid the area if possible for the next several minutes.
