A tractor and a train collided Monday afternoon just outside Guthrie city limits, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. in the area of Davis Road and Coltrane Road.
Emergency responders, including EMS, were initially dispatched but were later called off after a Logan County deputy and a Guthrie police officer arrived and confirmed that there were no injuries.
According to officials at the scene, the farmer was operating an enclosed tractor and reportedly did not hear the approaching train. The area’s overgrown trees, tall grass, and a curve in the tracks contributed to limited visibility.
The tractor sustained minimal damage, and there were no reported injuries to the farmer or the train crew.
