The Guthrie Fire Department responded Thursday morning to the Guthrie Convenience Center for a reported vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a fully involved truck and made a quick knockdown, successfully containing the flames and preventing the fire from spreading.
An OSU-OKC fire student on a ride-along was able to assist in the response, getting a firsthand experience of real-world firefighting.
Fire crews reported seeing smoke from as far away as Noble and Division Street while en route to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
