Guthrie crews responded to Triplett Road and Division for a two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening.
A 2006 Chevrolet pick up truck driven by Jeffrey Thompson, of Lexington, was carrying a trailer when he collided with a 1995 Acura driven by Nathaniel Willis, of Jones, around 6:30 p.m.
Thompson attempted to pull into a body shop business, on Division, with an improper turn by crossing both lanes.
Citations were issued to both drivers.
The accident closed down the south bound lanes for several minutes. Traffic was being diverted onto Sooner Road.
There were no injuries and no transport.
Trailers are important part of life so drive them carefully.
