Two in custody, two on the run following home break-in

Home Break In

Two people are in custody and two others are still on the loose following a home break-in on Guthrie’s east side late Wednesday morning.

A homeowner came home to an open back door at their residence in the 800 block of E. Cleveland after 11 a.m.

A nearby neighbor says they saw four people running from the residence.

The Guthrie Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office worked together to find the suspects. A county deputy spotted the two suspects running in an alley several blocks from the home matching their vague description.

The two suspects were taken into custody, including an 18-year-old male and a juvenile male.

Officers were able to locate some of the homeowner’s belongings in the alley.

Two more suspects are still on the run, but officers are hopeful video evidence will help lead them to their arrest.
