Two pedestrians were transported to a local hospital after a vehicle struck them in a busy downtown intersection.
On Tuesday, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Oklahoma Ave. and Division St. just after 6 p.m. for a pedestrian – vehicle accident.
According to a police report, 54-year-old and 20-year-old females from Oklahoma City were struck in the cross walk attempting to cross Division St. The report states Kristopher Ryan King, 27, was driving a white Audi Q5.
The report goes on to say King was traveling west on Oklahoma Ave. and attempted to turn south onto Division St. when he failed to yield to the pedestrians.
Possible charges or citations are pending.
Both victims were transported to Mercy Logan County with minor injuries.
