Two teens admitted into hospital following vehicle crash

Two Logan County teens were involved in a two-vehicle crashed that sent them both to the hospital for multiple injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported the crash happened on March 19 just after 11 p.m. on State Highway 108 and McElroy Road in Payne County.

A 16-year-old male from Crescent was driving a 2016 Hyundai Elantra eastbound on McElroy and a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe was northbound on SH-108.

According to troopers, the Crescent teen failed to stop at a stop sign, struck the Tahoe and rolled an unknown number of times coming to rest on its top.

The teen was transported by Lifenet to Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater and admitted in fair condition with external trunk, internal trunk, and head injuries.

The passenger, a 15-year-old female from Mulhall, was airlifted by a medical helicopter to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in critical condition with external trunk, internal trunk, head, and leg injuries.

The driver of the Tahoe was not injured, according to troopers.
