Two vehicle accident leaves semi-truck rolled over on Highway 33

Update at 11:34 a.m. – Roadway is back open.

Update at 11:20 a.m. – Guthrie firefighters were able to stop a minor diesel leak from the semi-truck. Traffic continues to move as a wrecker works on moving the truck off the highway.

The eastbound lane of Highway 33 is blocked due to an overturned semi-truck following a two vehicle accident.

The accident occurred just after 10 a.m. Thursday on the highway near Bassett Road, which is near the Cedar Valley golf course.

The accident involved the semi-truck and a four-door truck.

A female, who is reported to be 34 weeks pregnant, was transported to Baptist hospital non-emergency. The driver of the semi refused medical treatment at the scene.

Guthrie Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol are on the scene.
