United Way of Logan County announced its 2017 fundraising total during the annual Campaign Celebration event on Tuesday at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Masonic Center. United Way raised $179,370 to be invested on behalf of donors to help meet the community’s health and human service needs.
“We are so grateful for our donors and their support in this year’s campaign,” said Kristal Flury, United Way of Logan County board chair. “The money raised will help fund our Partner Agencies, allowing them to continue providing life-changing programs for the citizens of Logan County.”
United Way of Logan County allocates donor dollars to 11 programs administered by 10 Partner Agencies. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
