United Way of Logan County will host its fifth annual Logan County Open on Friday, June 4 at the Guthrie Golf & Country Club. The golf tournament, put on in partnership with Guthrie Golf & Country Club and Mercy Hospital, will benefit the United Way of Logan County and its 10 Partner Agencies.
The event is highlighted by two “hole-in-one” prizes: $10,000, sponsored by Foundation Insurance, and a new car, sponsored by Eskridge Chevrolet.
Additional tournament sponsors include F&M Bank, Environmental Management, Edward Jones, Langston University, OGE Energy Corp., John Vance, ONG, BancFirst, Vision Source, Interbank and Oklahoma State Bank.
“We are excited to get back on the green in support of our Partner Agencies,” said Mike Sikes, United Way of Logan County Golf Tournament Chair. “The money raised through this golf tournament will help fund the programs of our Partner Agencies who are providing life-changing support to Logan County residents.”
Interested players can register as a foursome for $200 or an individual for $50 by emailing [email protected]. Sponsorship opportunities are also available starting at $100. The deadline to reserve teams and sponsorship for the Logan County Open is May 21.
Registration begins the morning of the tournament at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided.
United Way of Logan County allocates donor dollars to 11 programs administered by 10 Partner Agencies. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
