Sereniah Breland, United Way of Logan County Campaign Chairwoman, announced recently that the 2014 campaign has raised over $98,000 so far.
“I am hugely impressed that in just over one month the campaign has achieved almost 50% of its goal of $202,014. I think that speaks volumes about the Pacesetter Campaign and the generosity of the people of Logan County. The Pacesetter Campaign, chaired by Josh Tucker, CEO at Mercy Hospital Logan County, consists of 10 businesses which begin their campaigns a little early in order to “jump start” and set the tone for the regular campaign,” Breland said.
Breland also noted, “Businesses, their employees, and people throughout our county are making a difference by their support of the United Way. To those who have already given, thank you. To those who have not yet made their contribution — please consider a donation. It is an investment in our communities and our county. It is a great way to make a difference in the lives of individuals throughout Logan County!”
The United Way of Logan County campaign continues through December. The United Way funds support specific programs in 10 partner agencies and last year those programs impacted approximately one out of every four citizens of Logan County.
