United Way of Logan County Raises $201,687 for health, human service programs

Guthrie, OK – United Way of Logan County (UWLC) announced its 2024 fundraising total during the organization’s Campaign Celebration event Jan. 28 at The Guthrie Depot. The campaign raised $201,687 to be invested on behalf of donors to meet the community’s health and human service needs.

“Every year we are blown away,” Dana Hornbeck, UWLC advisory board president, said. “Our community sees the need and they continue to provide hope to our neighbors. I’m honored to witness and be part of this tremendous success.”

The Celebration also recognized:

  • Excellence in Employee Engagement – Guthrie Public Schools
  • Innovation & Impact – Jill Zimmer
  • Crystal Achievement – Environmental Management
  • Outstanding Allocations Volunteer – Jamie Newton
  • Kenneth Mitchell Lifetime Achievement – Linda Miller

UWLC allocates donor dollars to 11 programs administered by 10 Partner Agencies. All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested with the highest level of accountability.
