Northbound and southbound US-77 will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals at the Cimarron River bridge just north of Guthrie between SH-74C and East County Road 76 beginning at 8 a.m. Friday morning and continuing through summer 2019 for an ongoing bridge project.
Motorists are advised to use caution through the work zone and to expect delays in the area. A detour option is SH-74C to SH-74 to SH-33 to US-77.
This work is part of a $5.5 million project to reconstruct and realign the US-77 bridge over the Cimarron River. Once traffic is moved to the new bridge, the existing structure will be removed. Work is expected to complete by early fall 2019, weather permitting
