A 21-year-old male was transported to a Oklahoma City hospital late Wednesday morning following an accident on Interstate 35.
Emergency crews were dispatched south of mile marker 151 after a vehicle departed the southbound lanes and into a bank of trees just after 11 a.m.
Traffic was halted as the male victim was airlifted to OU Medical Center with possible head trauma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Guthrie Fire Department assisted with the accident.
No other details were released at the scene.
