A Guthrie man was assaulted and later stabbed early Sunday morning following an argument at a local bar.

According to Guthrie detectives, a 27-year-old white male got into an argument with two black males inside the Halftime Bar and Grill (322 W. Oklahoma) and eventually left the bar.

The victim began walking to a residence in the 400 block of N. Wentz and at some point was stabbed in the side by two hispanic males.

He was spotted just before 7 a.m. and was medi-flighted to an Oklahoma City hospital where he is listed in fair condition.

The knife used in the assault was found outside the bar and grill.

The victim is refusing to give detectives any information and has elected not to prosecute.

Guthrie News Page will continue to follow this story.
