Come the first weekend in September Guthrie is expected to have 25,ooo to 40,000 in town for the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover and already city officials are looking for volunteers.
Organizers say they will need 700 volunteers for the two-day event on Sept. 6 and 7.

“We want to use locals as much as possible as they have a vested interest in our awesome community,” Friese said.
