It’s another Friday night under the lights at Jelsma Stadium as the Guthrie Bluejays host the El Reno Indians in a key district matchup.
Guthrie enters the contest at 4-1 overall and 2-0 in district play, riding a four-game winning streak. The Bluejays have found their rhythm on both sides of the ball, winning each of their last four by double digits and positioning themselves near the top of the district standings.
El Reno, meanwhile, comes to town looking to snap a tough stretch. The Indians are 1-4 overall and 0-2 in district play, dropping four straight after opening the season with a win.
Tonight’s matchup also carries extra meaning for Guthrie fans — it’s Pink Week at Jelsma Stadium, as the community honors and supports those affected by cancer.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., with the pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fans can catch all the action live on Guthrie News Page.
With only two regular-season home games remaining, Bluejay fans are encouraged to pack the stands and help keep the momentum rolling as district play heats up.
