Class 5A – District 1
You think Ada gives up 30 to CA? I thought this would be more of a score like Guthrie v Ada…..
Guthrie left a lot of points on the board that night against Ada (3 trips inside the 10-yard line and no points).
be kinda funny if Ada plays with an all out, nothing to lose attitude and beats CA. just sayin lol
I was way to conservative on the game. Carl Albert wins 53-12
I didn’t see the game obviously, so I was just going off of score. But I was also looking at the total points Ada has given up this year. They look to be right there with GHS and CA………I wasn’t there though so it may have been more of Guthrie’s mistakes than Ada’s D.
And goal line stands are good defenses. You can’t play big play ball all the time. Inside the redzone is a part of it. I’d say if Guthrie dropped passes, key penalties, or missed FG’s, then they left point on the board. If they just got stuffed, it’s good D. But if you were there, I’ll take your word. Just seems pretty high for a team that’ll more than likely be in the playoffs. But if CA’s receivers could catch, that game against Guthrie would’ve been a lot closer.
