The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of the state, including Logan County and Guthrie.
The advisory is in effect for northeast and central Oklahoma until 2 a.m. Sunday.
The weather service says snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible with a combination of one to three inches
The heaviest precipitation is expected late this afternoon through the evening time.
Freezing rain accumulations may result around one-tenth of an inch.
Slick roads will develop along with bridges and overpasses this afternoon as colder air moves into the area.
NWS urges all motorists to be careful when traveling.
