A 19-year-old male was transported to a Oklahoma City hospital early Saturday morning after rolling his vehicle.
At 12:14 a.m., emergency crews responded to an injury accident on S. Academy Road approximately 12 feet north of Walking Tall Drive.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the driver, Lane Owen of Guthrie, was traveling northbound on Academy when he departed the roadway and struck an embankment.
The collision caused the truck to roll one-and-half times before coming to a rest on its side.
The trooper’s report shows the cause of the wreck was caused by speed.
He was wearing a seatbelt.
Owen was admitted in stable condition at OU Medical Center with leg, arm and internal trunk injuries.
