Annie Simpson named Logan County Teen Miss United States Agriculture

Annie Simpson was recently crowed the 2022 OK Teen Miss United States Agriculture.

Annie, a 16-year-old student at Edmond North High School, is an advocate for students with special needs in agriculture. Her platform – Accessible Agriculture – strives to bridge the gap between agriculture education and students with special needs. She has promoted her platform by creating a livestock show for these students.

As her platform grows she plans to expand this show into a multi-day camp for these students to explore more opportunities in agriculture.

She is currently a member of the Edmond FFA chapter where she serves as the Chapter Reporter and competes in parliamentary procedures, public speaking, and showing swine.

A fun fact about Annie is that she is a third generation welder and competes on Edmond FFA’s welding team.

Annie, the daughter of Jeramie and Tamara Simpson, is booking appearances and looking for places to share her platform over the next year.
