Beau Dale finishes high school career with an All-State finish; Jays compete at State

Guthrie High School boy’s golf team completed their three rounds of the Class 5A Golf State Championships this week at Duncan’s Golf and Tennis Club. At the end of the tournament, Beau Dale finished with All-State recognition.

Dale finished with a three-day score of 251, including a 79 on the final 18, to secure the All-State recognition. He will play in the All-State games later this summer.

Devin Frey was next for the Jays with a final score of 265 and was followed by Nathan Ames (272), Britt Drake (284) and Gavin Selanders (287).

Overall, in the 13 team field, the Jays finished in 9th place with the host team, Duncan, winning the team title.
