It has been a long road for Mary Beth Davis since that Friday afternoon on August 27, 2010.
Davis was in a vehicle accident, west of Stillwater on Highway 51 when her truck flipped twice and rolled down a steep hill. She was medi-flighted to a hospital with truck, arm, leg and head injuries.
She spent two months in hospitals before being released to go home.
Davis continues to rehab with her left hand now at 100 percent, but her right hand still has weakness. She has no feeling in her lower body. With the help of friends and family, Davis is ready to “wake” them up.
A benefit dinner has been set for May 4 at St. Mary’s Church with a pulled pork dinner, silent auction and quilt raffle to help raise funds for an upcoming intense therapy and equipment.
