Benefit ride and cookout for beating victim; suspect still on the run

Family and friends are coming together for a benefit ride and cookout for a Guthrie man, who was nearly beaten to death. Meanwhile, the search for the suspect continues.

Antonio “Tony” Taylor remains in a Oklahoma City hospital with a head injury after an altercation on Sept. 18. He was placed in a medical induced coma at OU Medical Center, but is now alert. As medical expenses continue to rise, a benefit ride and cookout is set for Sunday, Oct. 2 beginning at The Blowout (320 W. Harrison Ave.) at 10 a.m. Donations will be accepted before heading out on a motorcycle ride through Arcadia, Wellston and Perkins. Click here for complete details.

The suspect in the beating is 33-year-old Tommie Tucker, who remains on the run from law enforcement. Investigators have searched several properties in the Guthrie area, but with no luck.
