Every golfer’s day is made when he shoots his personal best. Guthrie eighth-grade student Bo Robbins relished the moment this past week. The low score came after winning a Junior PGA event.
Robbins won the 14-15 year old age group in the South Central Junior PGA (SCPGA) for his first win after several top 10 finishes.
Robbins, who shot a 78 at Yukon’s Surrey Hills, moves to the No. 23 ranking in the South Central Region, which has approximately 150 golfers in the age bracket.
The SCPGA hosts approximately 40 tournaments in the months of June and July across Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.
Robbins, who is the son of Seth and Melynn Robbins, shot a career best 75 days after the win.
