Body found along Logan County highway

Guthrie News Page has confirmed with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office that a body has been found along a highway just east of Guthrie.

Body FoundOn Wednesday, a body was discovered on Highway 105 near Henney Road.

Captain Richard Stephens with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office tells Guthrie News Page that skeleton remains of a male body were found wearing summer type clothing and believes the body has been there for some time.

A police investigation is underway.

Abandoned structures are in the area and when an owner came to check on the property they found the body.

Deputies, who were called to the scene at 2:32 p.m., say the body is a male that appears to be in the age range of 30 to 60 years old.

No identification was found near the body.
