The Guthrie Board of Education is set to meet Monday evening for their regular school board meeting and is expected to discuss the naming of the new elementary school.
In November, the school district seeked input from the public on a name for the new school. A committee has been exploring possible names for the school that will be located near the intersection of Douglas Blvd. and Charter Oak Rd. in southern Logan County.
Construction is expected to start in the coming months.
You can watch the meeting live on Guthrie News Page’s Facebook page. The meeting is set for 7 p.m.
