For the second straight year Guthrie’s Kentrell Brothers has been selected to the Tulsa World’s All State football team.
Brothers has and will be named on everyone’s all-state team with his dominant play on both sides of ball with 19 TDs and 19 sacks. On offense, had 63 catches for school-record 1,304 yards and 18 TDs to help BlueJays reach 5A semifinals for second straight year. On defense, had 100 tackles. Finished career with 160 catches, 3,029 receiving yards, 40 TDs, 285 tackles and 51 sacks.
Booker T. Washington’s Derrick Alexander Jr. was named their player of the year.
