Candidates file for school board seats

After a three day filing, two school districts will have an election to fill a seat on local school boards.

For Guthrie Public Schools, incumbent Travis Sallee will seek re-election for Ward 7. He will be challenged by Bradley Havenar.

Ward 1 representative Sharon Watts did not seek re-election. Chris Schroder was the lone candidate to file for the Ward 1 office and will automatically be seated on the board.

Crescent Public Schools will also see an election as Ward 5 will be up for grabs between Cara Cox and Terri Gregory. Gregory is seeking re-election.

A General Election will be held on Tuesday, April 7.
