Car slams into dispensary following crash

A driver was arrested on Tuesday following a crash that sent their vehicle into a local business.

Guthrie emergency crews responded to the 2300 block of E. Oklahoma Ave. at around 3 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, firefighters and police found a blue Subaru had crashed into the Fire Leaf Dispensary.

According to police, the Subaru and a red utility vehicle were both driving westbound on State Highway 33 when the driver of the Subaru made an abrupt left-hand turn and struck the other vehicle.

The impact caused both vehicles to go south across the eastbound lanes of Noble. The Subaru was sent airborne over the median and continued into the building. The other vehicle came to a rest on Oklahoma. Ave.

The driver of the Subaru was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
