Parents and school officials of Central Elementary will be sprucing up the playground and the school’s property as they prepare to host Meet The Teacher and the first day of school.
Central Playground Clean Up will be held on Tuesday, August 28, at 6:30 p.m.
With your help, school children can begin the school year on a promising note.
Meet the Teacher is set for Thursday, August 30 (3 – 7 p.m.) and the first day of school on September 4.
Some of the tasks will include, pulling weeds, shoveling and sweeping sand and doing other general cleaning up activities.
Everyone is asked to bring your gloves, shovels, outdoor brooms and rakes.
Whether you can work 30 minutes or two hours, any help is appreciated.
