The Oklahoma Coaches Association announced Tuesday its 2022 All-State football selections. The list includes Guthrie’s Chris Shaputis.
Shaputis, who helped lead the Jays to their first 10-win season since 2014, was one of the best interior defensive linemen in the state. He had 66 solo tackles, 48 assisted, 12 sacks, 29 for loss, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.
He was named the Player of the Game for his performances over Shawnee and Lawton Eisenhower.
The 2022 All-State football game will be Friday, July 29 at 7 p.m. with the site to be determined later.
