The First United Presbyterian Church is inviting community members to join them for prayer in the wake of recent mass shootings in California, Texas and Ohio.
Members say people are welcomed to stay after the service for conversation about possible solutions being taken to promote peace.
In the past week, 32 people have been killed and more than 65 injured in mass shooting attacks.
The Tuesday (August 6) prayer service will begin at 7 p.m.
The church is located 102 E. Noble.
