City of Guthrie announces new Human Resource Services Director

The City of Guthrie announced Idalia “Liz” Elizabeth Botello as their new Human Resource/Administrative Services Director.  Botello will officially start with the City on Monday, November 1.

Botello has over seven years previous Human Resource experience including serving as Human Resource Director at The Goddard School and most recently as the Talent Acquisition Manager at Oklahoma City Community College. Liz has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma. As a resident of Logan County, Liz looks forward to serving and being more involved in the Guthrie Community.

Botello, will be filling the Human Resource/Administrative Services Director position recently vacated by Kristin Elsenbeck. In her resignation letter, Kristin stated that she felt very fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity to serve as Guthrie’s HR Director over the last two years.

Leroy Alsup, Guthrie City Manager stated that, “he is appreciative for contributions that Kristin made to the City during her tenure.”
