Around the Web: City of Guthrie honors one of Oklahoma’s finest

GUTHRIE, Oklahoma – A special honor was held Wednesday night in Guthrie for one of Oklahoma’s finest. Bob Cobb, 91, was known for decades, because of the local Ford Dealership he operated.

However, 70 years ago during World War II, Sgt. “Bobby” Cobb was a Tank Commander in the 9th Armored Division that was part of the American wave that stormed the beaches of Normandy.
