A female driver was taken to a local hospital Monday morning after she clipped a pick-up truck on South Division and ended up against a cement wall.
Just before noon on Monday a red Honda Civic and a pick-up truck were both traveling north on Division when the Honda, who was traveling in the outside lane made a sudden lane change and collided with the truck.
The impact sent the Honda across Division and into the Guthrie Water Treatment Plant’s cement wall 191 feet away.
Luckily, the Honda was not going at a high rate of speed when it hit the cement wall.
It was uncertain at the time of the accident why the lane change occurred.
The female driver, who had to be extricated from her car by the Guthrie Fire Department, was alert at the scene before being taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the pick-up did not need any medical assistance and had very little damage to the vehicle.
