Guthrie student athletes from the high school and junior high winter and spring sports teams are coming together for the first-ever Meet the Jays event, set for Monday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m. inside the GHS gymnasium.
The event, modeled after the long-running fall sports “Meet the Jays,” will introduce athletes and coaches from various winter and spring programs.
Vendors will be on hand, and the public is invited to attend.
An organizational meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. inside the high school to discuss event details and coordination.
The new “Meet the Jays” aims to bring the same energy and community pride that have made the fall edition a Guthrie tradition for over 20 years.
