Congresswoman Stephanie Bice of Oklahoma’s 5th District paid a visit to Guthrie on April 21st.
Bice’s office reached out to the Guthrie Chamber and asked for the Chamber to facilitate a day in Guthrie for the Congresswoman. Bice spent time with City staff and leaders where she was able to learn more about Guthrie, the city’s plans and goals for the future.
During her visit, she toured the State Capital Publishing Museum, the Pollard Theatre and was also able to visit with several downtown businesses and chamber investors.
The Chamber hosted lunch at Stable’s Cafe where Bice was able to answer questions from various business owners and chamber investors.
After lunch, Bice concluded her visit with a private tour of the new Meridian Technology South Campus.
With Oklahoma’s new redistricting, the 5th congressional district now includes most of Logan County, including Guthrie.
