An Oklahoma City man, who has a lengthy criminal past, was in front of a Logan County judge Monday afternoon after he was arrested over the weekend when he led law enforcement on a vehicle pursuit.
Terril Eugene Wright, 51, of Oklahoma City, appeared on four charges by video in front of Judge Susan Worthington.
The Logan County District Attorney’s Office filed aggravated attempting to elude an officer, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wright is believed to have led officers on a pursuit that started within Guthrie city limits and ended in far southern Logan County. Related article: Suspect in stolen vehicle leads police on pursuit
At his arrest on Saturday, Wright had a bench warrant in Logan County for failure to appear. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to five charges in Logan County, including eluding a police officer.
Wright was given a $25,000 bond and a March 21, 2024 court date for his most recent charges.
