COVID-19 related deaths now at 6 for Logan County

With the latest information from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), the number of COVID-19 related deaths is now at six for Logan County.

On Monday, OSDH reports the six total deaths include two from Guthrie.

In total, there have been 2,249 confirmed COVID cases in the county with 379 active.

For the surrounding Guthrie area, there have been a total of 1,381 cases with 1,145 recoveries.

Health officials said recovered means the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and it has been 14 days since the onset of symptoms or report.

A total of 263,434 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 2,218, the state health department said.

As of last Friday, a total of 15,358 Oklahomans have been hospitalized due to the virus with 1,571 in acute care OSDH licensed facilities and 133 in other types of facilities.
