The first day of school at Coyle Public Schools brought more than just new classes and fresh school supplies—students also received a major tech upgrade. Thanks to a recent grant, the district has added 273 brand-new Chromebooks to its technology lineup, ensuring students are equipped with modern tools to support their education.

Dubbed “Christmas in August” by staff, the delivery of the new devices is a welcome boost as students return to the classroom. The Chromebooks will be distributed to students in grades 4 and up, while younger students in the lower elementary levels will benefit from updated class sets of MacBooks and iPads.

The rollout was made possible through a successful grant application and swift action by staff. Leading the charge was Wray Larman, assisted by Ryleigh and Gracie Long, who worked diligently to unbox, organize, and prepare the devices in time for the first day of school.
