Despite being a few years younger, Denae Davenport and the Guthrie Junior High relay track team took on the competition at Edmond Santa Fe.

Davenport won the 400 meter race. Davenport is currently in the sixth grade and competed against older runners in junior high.
Lexi Hastings also had a nice showing with a second place finish in the mile race.
In the mile relay, the Lady Jays took second with three of the four runners being the young runners on the track.
