JV baseball drops 7-4 decision to Jones

On Friday, the Jays dropped a 7-4 decision to Jones.

Braden Davenport pitched a solid five-and-a-third innings despite collecting the loss.

Jones erupted in the fifth inning by taking advantage of a walk, two hits, and a few Guthrie miscues in the field. The Longhorns eventually scored four runs that proved to be enough.

Kamden Willcott shined at the plate by collecting a double and a triple.
