Deadline approaching to claim flood damage

The deadline to register with FEMA for any damages from the recent flooding is July 31. You can register at any Disaster Resource Center (DRC).

There will be a DRC in Kingfisher at the fairgrounds July 15 – 18 and July 26 – 30. 

Currently 113 households have registered with FEMA from Logan County. 

In addition, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is still doing free testing of well water as a number of wells have been contaminated and people are encouraged to do so.
