What was supposed to be two weeks has turned into multiple weeks of College Street being closed at Division Street.
In late May, the railroad signal box at the intersection was damaged after a dump truck rolled into the box causing damage on the south side.
College St. has been blocked off to pedestrians and vehicles, while the railroad company has replaced the signal box, lights and signals.
At the location on Thursday, Guthrie News Page was informed the project was held up for several days due to insurance reasons.
The railroad company is hopeful the road can be reopened sometime next week.
At least it’s supposed to be the same year.
